The My Self Key keychain helps you notify your loved ones in everyday life. Born from a commitment to women's safety, it is for everyone, of any age.

Pre-sale
The keychain is sold as a pre-sale of 1,500 units, until Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 11:59 pm (Paris time), or earlier if all 1,500 units are sold. Delivery by 31 December 2026 at the latest. You pay when you order, you can cancel until dispatch, and you have 14 days to withdraw after receiving it. Delivery to mainland France, free from €50 of purchases; below that, shipping costs are shown before you confirm your order.

In the box
The complete keychain and its four protections: the key with its SOS button, the sound alarm, the emergency QR tag with its own ring, and the Safe Cup. Also a bag of black, pearl and silver beads, the thread and a heart bead, to make the keychain strap yourself in about ten minutes. Small parts, keep out of reach of children under three. Colour of your choice when ordering: black or purple.

SOS button
Hold the button for one second: your phone notifies your loved ones according to your plan. A short press does nothing. With Solo, Premium or Family, up to 5 loved ones receive a text message with a link to your live location, and an automatic call for the first 5 alerts of the month, to French numbers only. Beyond 10 alerts in the month, no more texts or calls: the app offers to let you send the alert yourself. Your connected loved ones, who have the app, also receive a priority notification, which rings even if their phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb (they just need to allow it in the app). The App plan warns your loved ones with this notification, with no texts or calls. The button needs your phone within Bluetooth range (about twenty metres), switched on, with the app left running in the background, a network and an active plan. The location comes from your phone.

Emergency QR code
On a separate tag with its own ring, attached to the same keyring, it works without your phone. Whoever finds you scans it and sees who to call. A scan does not notify anyone. Without a plan, the page shows up to two loved ones.

Sound alarm
A standalone alarm to draw attention around you. It works without a phone, without a network and without a subscription.

Safe Cup
An accessory that covers your glass. It does not guarantee the absence of contamination.

The app and the plans
The keychain does not include a subscription. The My Self Key app is free to download; it is being launched on Google Play and the App Store. For the SOS button to notify your loved ones, you need a plan, taken out in the app, with no commitment, monthly or yearly: App, Solo, Premium or Family. During the pre-sale only, a one-year plan can also be bought on this site with the keychain, 10% cheaper than in the app; its year starts the day you activate it with the code sent by email, not before.

Without a plan
No alert is sent to your loved ones: pressing the button opens the screen to call 112. What still works: the key stays connected to your phone, the QR page shows two loved ones, and the app lets you use the lost and found option, the fake call and "Around me". The sound alarm and the Safe Cup do not depend on any subscription.

Coin-cell battery
The key runs on a CR2032 battery, which you replace yourself. Warning, coin-cell battery. Keep the key and batteries, new or used, out of reach of children. Swallowing a coin-cell battery can cause serious internal burns in as little as two hours and can lead to death. If in doubt, see a doctor immediately or call 15 or 112. Take used batteries to a collection point.

My Self Key is not an emergency service: nobody monitors alerts. In danger, call 112.
